4.      Chatterbox – This person needs to talk to her BFF constantly…during the lesson, during class discussion, during group work.  What you can do:  Manipulate your seating chart to make sure that the chatterbox sits nowhere near any of her friends.  Tell the Chatterbox that you will consider moving her to another seat once she gets herself under control for a week or two.  You are the authority figure in the classroom, and you decide who sits where based on their behavior.
