Once you engage in FST, you will always be known as
someone who likes to “play around”.
Students will always be approaching you to “play” – even students you
don’t know. Another way FST lives
forever is that the minute you begin flicking…it will be acceptable to flick and
bully you until you are an adult. I
discipline students all the time for FST who use the “He flicked/slapped/pushed
ME first!” excuse. I will say that I
didn’t see the other student flicking, and ask when it happened. “Three weeks ago!” the student will reply, as
if the pushing today is justified because of the flick almost a month prior.
