4.      Other Teachers – Students will talk about other teachers in your classroom.  If you let it go on, it implies that you agree with what is being said.  It is important that you end the talk about other teachers as soon as it happens, or the students will happily tell the story of how you laughed at Sally Rogers when she called Mr. Zimmerman a “bald eagle”.  They will tell the story in Mr. Zimmerman’s class!  At that point, you will have some explaining to do to Mr. Zimmerman.  When a situation happens, you simply say, “I will not tolerate anyone talking about other teachers in this room.”
