2.      Positivity – You willingly entered the teaching profession because you love kids, care about kids, and believe that children are the future.  You have not experienced anything that has changed your opinion about how great it is to be a teacher.  You still think that you get all summer off, still think that all children have an unquenchable curiosity and thirst for knowledge, still think that everyone in the general public views teaching as an honorable and noble profession.  Hang on to your positivity as long as you can…some people become cynical and jaded when they realize that nothing in life is true 100% of the time.  You will find, however, that all of the great things you love about being a teacher are true MOST of the time.
